Our Story
We built Kulan to be a gathering place—a 'Kulan'—where people can start their day with Somali tea and end it with a mountain of rice and tender meat.
Cultural Roots
Somali cuisine is a crossroads of flavors from the Horn of Africa, India, and Italy, characterized by the use of 'Xawaash' spice mix and the inevitable banana served on the side.
